Sarah – Fundraising and Communications Assistant

I began volunteering for REACH in June 2024, firstly as a triage volunteer assessing client needs and then as part of the community fundraising team. I was extremely excited when a permanent position became available to join the team to make an even greater impact. I bring strong project and relationship management skills to the role having worked for a variety of research organisations. I plan to put this experience to good use, particularly leading community fundraising and event management. My degree is in Communications, so I feel it is my final chance to maybe put some of what I learnt 25 years ago into practice! I closely align with the values of REACH and look forward to supporting the vital work of the fundraising and communications teams. 

Alongside my work at REACH, I am studying for a master's in psychology and enjoy spending time with my family and friends going to the theatre and attending music events.
