The Colour Run is sponsored by Cubico Sustainable Investments, a global renewable energy company headquartered in the UK, with a solar project located in Broxted.

Active across nine countries, Cubico develops, builds and operates onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects, taking a long-term approach that enables continued support for communities where they operate. In the UK, their wind and solar sites power over 250,000 homes, with £300 million of investment planned for future projects.

Renewable energy should bring lasting benefits to local people, and they prioritise working closely with communities and organisations near their projects, supporting initiatives that reflect local needs. Through community engagement, funding and partnerships, they aim to play their part in a fair and inclusive transition to a cleaner energy system.

Jack Chamber, Head of Asset Management (UK, Cubico) said:

“We’re very excited to be supporting the Colour Run with REACH. As the team managing the Broxted solar project located just outside Haverhill, it is important for us to be actively engaged with the local community, and that our renewable energy projects make a positive difference. Partnering with REACH gives us the opportunity to support an initiative that genuinely helps local people and families, particularly those facing hardship.

“The Colour Run is a great example of a fun, inclusive event that brings people together, and we’re proud that our support can help strengthen community spirit across the area.”

We're delighted to have Cubico's support to ensure this Colour Run can go ahead, to bring the local community together and to raise much needed funds for REACH to continue supporting families coping with financial crisis.
