Opening of Stourview Wellbeing Centre 

May marks a huge milestone for Haverhill as the Stourview Wellbeing Centre officially opens its doors.

 







This is a project that Reach Community Projects has been passionate about for many years. For us, it began when we collated all our feedback and research from local people who were struggling, and understood truly the difference that could be made in a dedicated place where people could access the services, support, and connections that help improve wellbeing in Haverhill.

This shared vision of a wellbeing centre has been long and, at times, slow. But through perseverance, belief, and a determination to keep pushing forward for our community, and finally that vision becomes reality!

We are incredibly proud to have been involved throughout this journey, but projects like this are only possible through partnership and collaboration, and we couldn't be more grateful to those who have prioritised local need and ensured this important centre exists today; our enormous thanks to Haverhill Town Council, with Mayor Lora-Miller Jones at the helm, alongside efforts from West Suffolk Council and ONE Haverhill (to name but a few).
We are delighted at the generosity shown by these forward-thinking groups, and the many individuals involved, to ensure our community has a welcoming place for connection, support, healing, and hope.

This is such a wonderful achievement for the town and a reminder that when organisations, communities, and people come together with a shared purpose, we really can make a difference.
