From Hunger to Hope: Summer Appeal 

We’re right in the midst of school holidays now, and many of us are enjoying some sunshine, and maybe even a break.

But unfortunately, many local children and their families won’t get a break from hunger, or the heavy burden of debt.

 

 

What did you want to be when you grew up?

The aspirations of young children are usually endless, and the opportunities in front of them should be, too.

But since 2019, the number of children we’ve fed in and around Haverhill has risen by 56%, and it’s hard to have dreams for your future when even a full meal is out of reach.

Fortunately, thanks to donations from people like you, that doesn’t have to be the end of the story for children living in hardship!

In July alone, thanks to the compassion of our supporters:

59 children were fed

71 emergency food parcels were provided

144 students were taught money management skills

£92,636 of financial support was achieved for local families
